SECURE HPC READINESS ASSESSMENT // FIXED SCOPE

See the environment.
Prioritize the next move.

A focused technical assessment for Linux high-performance computing teams preparing a migration, addressing recurring reliability issues, or planning an infrastructure investment.

PAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICESCOPED ENGAGEMENT
ENGAGEMENT MODEL

Scope, schedule and pricing are confirmed after a short discussion about the environment, objective, available evidence and access requirements.

WHAT WE REVIEW

One environment.
One agreed objective.

The engagement is intentionally bounded so the findings are useful, evidence-based and deliverable on a predictable schedule.

01 // ENVIRONMENT

Linux HPC Cluster

Customer-supplied inventory of up to 16 compute nodes, one cluster-management stack and one scheduler.

02 // CONFIGURATION

Representative Systems

Detailed review of one head or management node and up to two representative compute nodes.

03 // STORAGE + NETWORK

Shared Infrastructure

Architecture and evidence review of one shared or parallel-storage service and relevant management, compute and storage network paths.

04 // OBJECTIVE

Focused Outcome

One operational objective such as migration readiness, repeatable provisioning, scheduler reliability or recovery readiness.

05 // OPERATIONS

Dependencies + Practices

Authentication, DNS, time synchronization, modules, provisioning, scheduling, mounts, monitoring, change procedures and maintainability.

06 // RECOVERY

Evidence-Based Readiness

Backup, restore, rollback and incident procedures, with documented procedures distinguished from steps supported by test evidence.

DELIVERABLES

Useful artifacts.
Not a generic report.

  • Environment and dependency summary covering the agreed cluster, supporting services and evidence reviewed.
  • Prioritized findings register separating confirmed findings, documentation gaps and items requiring further validation.
  • 30-day improvement plan with sequencing, proposed owners, prerequisites and acceptance checks.
  • One targeted operating runbook selected at kickoff, such as migration preflight, scheduler incident triage, or configuration change and rollback.
  • Findings review with technical and management stakeholders plus one consolidated factual-correction round within scope.
  • A separate implementation work package can be proposed if the findings identify work NxLogical can responsibly deliver.
ENGAGEMENT BOUNDARIES

Read-only by design.
Clear about uncertainty.

The assessment uses approved documentation, exported evidence and read-only review. Production changes, active performance or security testing, data-recovery operations, software deployment, certification work and ongoing operational support require a separate written scope.

Findings apply to the agreed environment and evidence available during the assessment. The engagement does not guarantee a performance increase, successful recovery or a particular compliance outcome.
