Linux HPC Cluster
Customer-supplied inventory of up to 16 compute nodes, one cluster-management stack and one scheduler.
A focused technical assessment for Linux high-performance computing teams preparing a migration, addressing recurring reliability issues, or planning an infrastructure investment.
Scope, schedule and pricing are confirmed after a short discussion about the environment, objective, available evidence and access requirements.
The engagement is intentionally bounded so the findings are useful, evidence-based and deliverable on a predictable schedule.
Customer-supplied inventory of up to 16 compute nodes, one cluster-management stack and one scheduler.
Detailed review of one head or management node and up to two representative compute nodes.
Architecture and evidence review of one shared or parallel-storage service and relevant management, compute and storage network paths.
One operational objective such as migration readiness, repeatable provisioning, scheduler reliability or recovery readiness.
Authentication, DNS, time synchronization, modules, provisioning, scheduling, mounts, monitoring, change procedures and maintainability.
Backup, restore, rollback and incident procedures, with documented procedures distinguished from steps supported by test evidence.
The assessment uses approved documentation, exported evidence and read-only review. Production changes, active performance or security testing, data-recovery operations, software deployment, certification work and ongoing operational support require a separate written scope.
Findings apply to the agreed environment and evidence available during the assessment. The engagement does not guarantee a performance increase, successful recovery or a particular compliance outcome.
