RACF // RESILIENT ADAPTIVE COMPUTE FABRIC

Secure decisions across
heterogeneous compute.

RACF is an NxLogical research program investigating whether infrastructure telemetry, workload requirements and security state can be transformed into safe adaptive placement and recovery decisions across existing orchestrators.

The architecture is scheduler-neutral: telemetry is normalized into a common state model, hard security and placement constraints reject prohibited actions, and feasible actions are evaluated by the controller with auditable reason codes.

RESEARCH DISCIPLINE

Measure first.
Claim only what the evidence supports.

Current RACF work is prototype R&D. Recovery-time, utilization, security-compliance and decision-latency thresholds are experimental hypotheses—not achieved product-performance claims. NxLogical is building repeatable Kubernetes and Slurm test methods to establish technical feasibility and operating limits.

RESEARCH AREAS
01

Heterogeneous State

Normalize compute, accelerator, workload, health, network and security signals across orchestration environments.

02

Security-Constrained Control

Apply mandatory security and placement constraints before optimization or recovery decisions.

03

Resilience Experiments

Measure failure recovery, contention, stale telemetry, network degradation and combined fault scenarios.

04

Decision Provenance

Preserve candidate rejection, reason codes, controller version and state identity for technical auditability.

05

Cross-Orchestrator Fabric

Investigate a reusable control layer above Kubernetes, Slurm and future infrastructure adapters.
